Lake Forest Business Roundtable

The Lake Forest Business Roundtable was developed for the busy professional who wants to meet like-minded individuals to network, exchange business ideas and connections, and build relationships that generate business, while only spending 90 minutes over lunch or dinner. 

What's unique about Lake Forest's Business Roundtable? Attendees are assigned a table number based on their business category. This way, you are the only one in your business at your table. 
Cost:
  • Pre-Registration (i.e., pre-pay on website)
    • $20 for Chamber Members
    • $30 for Guests
  • At-The-Door Registration
    • $20 for Chamber Members
    • $30 for Guests
Please note that guests may attend twice before joining the Chamber.   

Location:

When:
  • 2nd Friday of the month at 11:30am to 1:00pm.
  • 4th Friday of the month at 11:30am to 1:00pm.
Program Details:
  • 11:30: We begin with introductions, announcements, and provide a brief explanation on how the Business Roundtable works.
  • 11:35: Each table will have between four and six people.  Each attendee is given one minute to introduce themselves.  Each attendee should answer the following questions while giving their introduction:
  1. What's their business
  2. Who is their ideal client
  3. Why do people do business with them  
  • 11:45: Lunch is served and table networking
  • 12:00:  Attendees will be given 5 minutes each to share with the group what challenges, ideas, or connections they would like to make to get feedback from the group.  
  • 12:40: Each attendee is encouraged to bring 5 to 10 brochures that can be mailed in a #10 envelope.  When attendees meet another attendee who has the same target client base, they can choose to swap those brochures and mail them out to their contacts on with a brief note like: “I thought you might find this valuable”.
  • 12:50: Each of the event sponsors are given two minutes to speak about themselves
  • 12:55: Final announcements, feedback survey and adjourn meeting.
Sponsorship Opportunity:
  •  At each roundtable meeting, two designated tables are available for sponsors at $25 each, which also includes at 2 minute commercial to promote their business.
